STEWARDSHIP: REJOICING IN THE GIFTS GOD HAS GIVEN US
The stewardship ministry begins with the belief that all things come from God and are to return to God. In our offertory prayer we often say, we offer with joy and thanksgiving what you have first given us--our selves, our time, and our possessions, signs of your gracious love. Stewardship is more than about money, it is about finding ways to offer ourselves to the service of Christ's mission in the world. An important aspect of this team's mission is to help our members take a faithful inventory of all their talents and to encourage each person to use these talents in faithful and loving ways in support of Christ's mission in the world.
